He wanted me to email him my prior experience with kayaking, but he seemed like he was ok with what all was going on. So I think im good.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it, I'm really pumped about the trip. And I'm fixing to make a Facebook page for our class so we can talk about shenanigans.
