Hope thats all heck may just need new main bearings in it or at least I can hope
lucky me wont have to put a dollar out for the engine though at least not till i build it. Thanx to my mom. She was the one that found it and asked if I wanted it
. Random question can I use the crank out of the 4.0 in the 4.2 Reason Im asking is my grandfather has a lil chevy luv thats just rotting away that needs a motor and cant seem to find a stock one so I figured after I canabolize the 4.2 for my stroker is piece it back together with 4.0 parts.

So after changing my valve cover gasket and the oil pan gasket, MOST of the drip web away. Still have a leak but very minor compared to before. Where? The infamous oil filter adapter. I cleaned off the starter last night and peeked at it at work today and has fresh oil on it. The drip is so minor I'm going to wait until next month to do. No need to waste the fresh oil and hopefully it will be a bit warmer out
