I can't promise you that it is legal...? But I've never had any trouble where I go... But I live out in holly springs, bout 25 mins outside of Raleigh.
Anyways, we've got trails for stockers(like myself) that you can tear up without being worried about destroying anything. Me and some buddies always go out there ride around and do some grilling...

Check out our vids on YouTube, account name: NCPuddlePirates92
that shows all the trails we hit!

Regency in Raleigh, the stuff out there is mild on one side of the trail and just plain narly on the other. I like the mild side, couple of mud holes and a rock face looking thing.

Yeah thats the place, if you go there just don't do anything stupid thats going to bring the cops there becasue i would like to continue going there and i'm not sure if its legal, ight? Though you guys don't seem like the kinds of people who do stupid stuff when fourwheeling, but you never know right? Anyway just be careful.

usually when and if i go wheeling i head down to uwharrie national park. near eldorado north carolina. but you need a membership. its only like $30 a year and they have trails for all kinds of vehicles. ive taken a stock yota one of the mid 90's 2wd and made it up 3 of the moderate trails. so im thinkin a stock jeep wit 4wd can do that easily. they have maps of all the trials. and they have a lot of trails.

we went this past weekend to Uwharrie with 31inchers on a stock XJ trimmed out enough, and tore the hell out of the fenders and quarters. it was awesome My dad planned on lifting, chopping, etc.... so it really dosent matter. It was kind of like paying a buck to hit a car with a bat.
