Rear Shackle bushings squeaking??? Any fix for this? I got a 6.5" Rough Country lift, and it's about 5 mos old. Rear bushings are starting to squeak. They do not have zirc fitting on them.

Seeing zirc'd ones, zirc'd bolts, and eurethane bushings... anyone suggest that one stands out over the other?

Thanks,
Barry

I perfer the zerk shackles over the zerk bolts. With the zerk shackles the zerk fitting is made into the shackle itself, and then the grease gets pushed into the bushing. I'd be afraid of the zerk bolt getting damaged when torquing it down and then not applying the grease correctly to the bushing. Poloyeurethane bushings are ok I guess but no way of keeping them greased.

Haahaa....

Yes. Works better with the compressor.

I will double check there is an air hammer out in the drawer where it should be. Haven't used it in forever.

Hey, let me know when ya'll are doing the sway bar/disconnect install and where. I want to remove my stock disconnects and put in some homemade disconnects. The air hammer will come in nicely in getting the old ones out. I also have a cutoff wheel to offer to the effort.
