Anyone know a machinist or descent shop near Warrenton/Marshall who would tap a SINGLE hole in my tstat housing? Its off the jeep and I already have the hole drilled. I just need it tapped and the shops I've called are estimating 30 mins labor and around $40+ ?!? Wth?

 

Call this guy, his name is Ryan. I don't know how much he would charge you, but he's a really cool and experienced guy. He builds custom land cruiser engines and can service anything! He's a big 4x4 guy, has a 4 runner on 37s that's welded and locked. I'll post a link.

That would be awesome. How much would you want? Its a M14x1.5 tap in one hole I need. I already drilled the .49xx (.5) inch hole the charts gave me using a drill press.

 

Nothing, it'll take like 15 minutes. Let me check to see if I have tap size.
