Going to be ordering my lift (4.5" Rusty's), wheels (Allied Balck D-windows), and tires this week. For the tires, I am stuck between 2 tires. I have spoken to my uncle who has 3 jeeps all lifted and built for offroad, and have come to the decision on my lift, and these 2 tires. I am stuck between the Mickey Thompson MTZ or the Dick Cepek FC 2. What do you guys think on the tires?

What size tires are you trying to run? Assuming 15" wheels? Personally I'd got MTZ out of the two choices.

I'll be running 31x10.50R15 tires. Its a package deal, and this way I'll have more flex and less strain on my D30/35 axles with 3.55 ratio. At least until I can upgrade or gear up.

Today I replaced the o-rings in the oil filter adapter, P.I.T.A.! But while I was under the jeep I noticed oil on my tire, I followed it up and it was coming from the axle...any ideas why?

Yeah, its on there good too. I bought a 12mm wrench and a t60 socket and cut off the t60 (I couldn't tap it out) and part of the wrench (so I could fit my lead pipe, ie-breaker bar on it). I found it easier to get while laying underneath the jeep.

I need to take the adapter off one jeep and put it on red one so I can do a proper oil change
