I hope everyone is still going to be able to make it. I get my replacement heim from RC today as soon as the man in the brown delivers it. I hope that is the solution to my DW. Other than that, I'm ready and pumped.

It wasn't to bad ran most of the day in 2wd but there was some slick spots and it started raining on us as we was leaving. I hope to make it back down this weekend if I can find a babysitter for my 3 month old.

Welp...
I just got my new replacement heim from RC installed. Took the old girl for a little test drive, hitting all the usual dips and holes in the road. Started a little wobble and then tapered off into nothing. Think the new heim made a huge improvement overall. A proper alignment should take care of the rest.
Overall, the Heep got IRO OTK steering, new swaybar bushings, remaned brake calipers and new heim. Tires have been rebalanced and rotated. I'll drive around the next couple of days to verify that the DW is at bay.

It doesn't look like I'll be making it this weekend. Between work and some personal stuff, I have too much going on this weekend. Have a blast guys, I'll hopefully catch the next outing.

I know that the red and green XJ will be down there they are going to be down there all weekend. if I do get to ride this weekend it will be on Sunday because I don't get off work Saturday until 3:30 so that would put me getting down there around 5:30 so ill just stick to Sunday. I might try and get my brother to ride out there with us to he has a 1999 jeep wrangler

Not so fast there Sparky... lol. I was on the way to work this morning and all was well until I hit a small dip in the road. Was going about 55 mph and it went to wobbling again. But, while I was at work today, I used the alignment computer and adjusted my toe-in and got it within a fraction of a degree of what stock toe-in calls for. Caster and camber are out of spec but they're awfully close. On the way home just a little while ago, I didn't get a bit of DW. Not holding my breath, but maybe just maybe...
We'll see when I drive to class later.
