Are you all still going Saturday? I will be there. I'm leaving Roanoke at 5am and should arrive at the outpost around 8-8:30, un-load and grab a bite to eat. I might have a 4 door JK with me as well.

Sweet! I'm stoked about this, heading out at 8 tomorrow morning and stopping to get some parts and groceries, shooting for 11:30am to get to the outpost and meet 99classic, then meeting with sam24th.
As stated before, there is absolutely NO signal at the Outpost or anywhere except the top if a couple trails, and we will be on CB channel 22. Hope to see everybody there this weekend!! It's gonna be sick!!!

What happened to you all? Nick, Corbet and myself waited at the Daniel trail head for 45min. We ended up running Daniel from the ledge side, it was easy. then did Dickie Bell and a few others. I loaded up around 3:30 and came home.
Great trip!

Well met XJtrailrider at the outpost. Sorry we didnt meet up again to wheel was kinda looking forward to wheeling with you. By the time we rolled out to Daniel you guys must have already ran it. I just now got home. I was having clutch issues with my Yota due to it being worn out. So we went back to the campsite to drop it off and pick up one of my buddy's jeeps. We ended up running every trail out at URE. I ran everything except Daniel and Dickey Bell at night the night before in the Yota. Was good fun, a bit more washed out than I had liked and def more soupy than I had expected. Also we ran Daniel one last time before I went home and some random straggler following us in an XJ grenaded a driveshaft. We spent the next 2 hours winching him out and helping him fix the shaft. All in all it was a great trip. Camping last night was miserable though.

It was good to me you Sam! We will get the opportunity to wheel again someday. Nick and I have wheeled together a few times and since he knew the trails I just followed him. How did the guy do in the 2-door? It was a little slick back in there for AT's and no lockers!Originally Posted by sam24th

Got a little mud on the tires!

Hopefully next time ill have my XJ up and running. Had to suck it up and drive the yota with clutch issues. The 2-door (Adam) did great. It was his first time wheeling out there but no issues that I am aware of. I rode with him and we rode all the trails except front side of Daniel and Dutch John. He actually was the one that ended up winching the straggler out of Daniel.Originally Posted by xjtrailrider

Sorry we didn't meet up with you guys, we were all wanting to wheel with you guys. We ended up not doing the front side of Daniel with the ledge with all of us having daily drivers and Adam having just installed the 3 link the week before and he wanted to get a feel for it before we went on anything tough. We went from Rocky Mountain Loop to Falls Dam to Dickey Bell, then ran the back of Daniel later that evening.Originally Posted by xjtrailrider

All in all had a blast! I really wish I had a different vehicle to drive every day so I could really do some stuff in the Jeep
