I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee that currently has stock Michelin 265/60R18s on it. They are wearing down and I will probably buy a new set this weekend. My local Merchants Tire has a set of Pirelli Scorpion ATR (all weather) in my current size for about $250 each (which from what I have seen online is actually a pretty good deal).
My questions are:

My questions are:
- Can I go bigger or wider? I know the 18 means the size of the rim, so that is not going to change, but would 275 or 285 work?
- If yes to above, would it screw up my speedometer/odometer? I had a Wrangler when I was in college and I replaced the stock crap with some 31 size tires and my speedometer was about 11 MPH slower than accurate ever since.
- Are the Pirellies good tires, or should I get something else? I usually like Michelin, but the ones that came with it when it was new only lasted 40k miles. I expected more out Michelin. I want something with enough tread to be badass on and off road without making too much noise while on the highway.
