Default Spicer U-Joints

Just wanted to let some local guys know that the Napa/Liberty Equipment store in Fredericksburg V.A. carries Spicer U-Joints they keep them in stock there. I just picked up (2) 5-760X Spicer U-Joints today they are $26.00 Apiece. I told them its hard to find the Spicers at any local part store and couldn't believe they had them in stock. And that particular U-Joint is common for a jeep. So he told me to tell any local jeep guys that they keep them in stock and if they are out they can have them in the next day.

Just figured I would spread the word and help anybody looking so they don't have to settle for some cheap part store house brand U-Joint.

The are a direct replacement for the spicer 297 joint, except that they were originally used in d44's. They are substantionally stronger then the 297 joint.

I have always had good luck finding spicer joints at Napa's.

I wish that were the case here near me. The only Napa that carries them and keeps them in stock is Napa/Liberty Equipment, And that's manly because they deal with Heavy Equipment parts, for Big Rigs, Dump Trucks and all sorts.

All the other local parts stores just carry the cheap house brand stuff.

I live in an area with a lot of agriculture /logging going on, as well as close to a bunch of marinas, so the NAPA's carry all kinda weird and useful stuff

That's cool,.....Ya I just figured I would post that the Napa / Liberty Equipment Here in Fredericksburg carried them. That way if there's any jeep owners in the Fredericksburg area that are members on the forum needed some spicer U Joints they know were they can get them.
