Thanks Eric, The weather is supposed to be nice so hopefully some people decide to head on out!

OK folks, Its going on still. I'm up if anyone needs to call, pm or post anything regarding the trip. If anyone decides to meet us at the Food Lion we'll be there at 10am and hang out for a little bit.... then head out to the trail.

If you won't make the 10a, or later thing and want to meet on the trail, we'll be running our CBs on channel 4 if you have one, if not just loof for a Nissan Xterra with no doors.

Anyway, Hope some decide to come out run!

Now for the bad news- my jeep died on the way back home last night gauges and radio started flickering and died, and a few minutes later started losing engine power and then IT died ....... had to get it towed from just north of c-ville to culpeper

Well I looked at everything when it happened and I figure it's either a bad wire somewhere or the alternator because the battery still had power and it's obviously an electrical issue. Nothing visibly wrong though. But I had to go back to school today so I left it at a shop for them to figure out.

I may be wrong but you should be able to see those pics even if you don't have a fb. I'll get em up here soon but I should be writing an essay right now.....

Ahh ok, hopefully it's something small like the alt. or a short that's easily found. How was the exhaust? I forgot to ask you about that before you guys got out of there.

Hey guys, looks like it was a lot of fun! Wish I could have gone, but didn't quite have the time or money for gas. I was however able to go to VA4WDA's meeting in Suffolk and found something out. Slick Rock is off limits. It's on private land, and therefore is illegal to wheel on. I do however have the means of contacting the property owner and hopefully will be able to work something out so we can wheel it legally. I'll keep you posted on this.

OverEasy - what are your thoughts for a May 20-21st run? I'll be there the 19-21st, so I can help coordinate if you want.

Believe me when I tell you that I have went through this whole 'slick rock' thing 1,000,000 time before most recently on Thursday. I have called and talked with . . . I'm not dragging this out. I've spoken w/ a ranger (lengthy conversation) Yes it's private, no its not posted. Anyway....

Not sure just yet, we have a coupe of things/ rides we're kicking around. Just have to see how it works out. For me personally, I'm getting tired of wheeling my Cherokee and am wanting to get back in my Samurai. Possibly hit up some OHV parks or private owned parks because I'm really getting tired of all the Shoe Creek drama.
