Umm, I drive my stock Cherokee through the trail. I used to drive my stock Samurai through it when it was uhhh .... stock.

With a lift and at least 1 locker you'll be fine. Maybe even give some of the obstacles a shot.

You can give a bunch of the obstacles up there a shot when you're stock. I did it with mine. Granted, they're easier when you're not stock, but some of them can still be done. I think the one obstacle up there that really requires a locker is slick rock. That's the only thing I have yet to do there running 3", 31's, and open/open.

DUDE454 is 2wd, so he may actually have some problems if its still icey, after slinging the rear ds and ghetto rigging it with the u joint from the front ds, we had some trouble in 2wd, probably had alot to do with how horrible boggers are on ice, but regardless, it was trouble on ice. Good learning trip though so have fun.

Yeah, 2 wheel drive + Boggers + ice = Gonna have a little trouble. BTW, he ever get the fixed? Find a new ds?

I doubt that there will be any ice late March. (hope I didn't just jinx us ) but if there is we'll just take our time and be cautious. No problems!

It hasn't moved since we got it back, hes fixxing it this weekend.

He has spent his free time lately getting the other XJ right,he picked it up right before our Shoe Creek trip. Currently the Blue XJ is sitting on bald streeties and the new XJ is running his tires. He is getting it ready for our wheeling trip next weekend.

Our URE trip has officially been planned btw, April 8-10th, incase you and yours are interested.

Hey guys is the shoe creek run still gonna happen? Cause im torn right now between going to shoe creek with the fellow cherokeeforum.com crew or going to crozet with the jeep club I joined. There going to crozet that same weekend. So im on the fence right now... decisions decisions decisions. I guess it will just depend on how many people decide to go to shoe creek and how many decide to go to crozet. I like to roll big. So the more the marrier. I just love seeing the huge convoy line of jeeps headed to the trail and just checking out all the different rigs and seeing what there capable of. And of course I just love wheeling myself. So you might see me at shoe creek, you might not. Will just have to wait and see.

It's on my calendar . As long as I don't seriously disable my jeep in the process of lifting it I should be good to go
