Rocking my XJ in Raleigh, NC.

I've seen a few others in town. If they're on here or anyone else wants to wheel with a big group on most weekends, check out this thread on wranglerforum.com.

Honestly I don't have time for parting it right now. If you want to do that then shoot me a decent offer and it's all yours.

If go for the axles! Not your dd so you can take a min to build it up.
Then you won't break them.....

Yeah true story. Only thing i've read about super duty tons that I don't like are they use unit bearings and the driver side axle tube is short enough to make it difficult to mount coil buckets. Idk why but i'd consider running leafs up front anyways lol.

buddyantunez, I'm from Raleigh/Garner area, we'll have to meet up one of these days.

I'm free most afternoons and weekends, so I'm always up for some wheeling. We are going to a spot in Garner just about every weekend, so bring the rig if it's up and running.

You're not far from where they were taken. There is a spot where we go off Rock Quarry Rd and New Hope Rd. Right where 40 and 440 meet in South Raleigh. But there are also some trails we go to in RTP.

Click on the link I posted and you'll see lots of photos and videos of this spot in south Raleigh. Anything from easy dirt roads to rocks and hill climbs. We'll be headed that way Saturday and then to the other trails you'll see in the thread.

I thought that area looked familiar. I know exactly where it is because I take that way to go to my dad's work from time to time... As a matter of fact, I went by there today and thought, "Man, this looks like a big open area to go wheeling... wonder if it's legit." But yea, maybe one of these days when I ain't working, we could all meet up.

The background on the place; it was going to be a new subdivision. It was graded and plumbing was put in via fire extinguishers, drainage, and water lines for homes. When the housing market tanked in 08', so did plans for the subdivision. It looks like it hasn't been touched since then. No signs posted and we haven't had any problems yet *knock on wood*. Let me know if and when you might want to go, I'm open most afternoons and weekends. I work nights at RDU.
