Theres a whole lot to it with an XJ, with a YJ its honestly pretty damn simple.
The 60/14 bolt out of a Chevy 1 ton practically bolt right up, I have to notch the Center Pin holes on the 60, but otherwise I do not have to do any modifications to the spring pads. A buddy did a very similar build to his yj recently, so I learned alot and it will be much easier the 2nd go around lol

Why do you need so much drop?
You don't need to buy a brand new one, huge waste of money, go to the local scrap yard, get one off a ZJ, ZJ Pitman arm is the same as a 1" drop for an XJ. While your there find a V8 ZJ, grab the tie rod and drag link, great upgrade.
Local Pull a Part here sells the Tierod/draglink for 17 bucks, with ends. Pitman arm probably 7-10 bucks.

I gotta 6 inch lift and I'm trying to keep as much stress off it and I'm running 35 12.50s. I do need a tie rod and the ends on mine are new. That's cheep for the parts, at my local junk yard just for a tie rod there wanting 25 bucks. Zj isn't that the Grand Cherokee?

Yes, a ZJ is a 93-98(I think) Grand Cherokee.
I believe all of them have the 1" drop steering arm, but only the V8's have the 1" solid tie rod, its a pretty huge improvement over stock, and would be the first upgrade if I was building another basic XJ.

Ok I'll check into it cause my tie rod is bent and I'm gonna have to replace it anyways. I've also gotta replace the universals in the front axle witch looks like its gonna be fun. What's some other lil mods that will make a big difference?

Like the cuts on the front, very clean, why not cut the rears too?
Also, I am in or around highpoint all the time, my brother lives off Wendover, he and his room mate both have teal Xj's on 33's. One is a 94 model 4 door with long arms and as of this upcoming tuesday a 4.9 stroker, the other is a 97 2 door that has been abused.

The website has been down for ages, and I do not code, a buddy did the site for me and he is pretty hard to get a hold of so not expecting it up again soon.
Just check us out, and keep in touch, if you have facebook you can pretty much monitor what we do. We are currently discussing whether we will continue monthly meet and greets, or try to step up for more wheeling trips and all.
Also the past 2 years, we have done 2 Uwharrie Trips per year, thinking this year we do 3.

Thanks, I will be cutting the rears soon just got to get it over to a friends to weld up the pinch after the cut. The reason for the high cut fronts is for when I run my 35's. I like big tires with the least amount of lift.

Good deal man, cut looks clean, I wouldn't worry about it at all.
We have some private owned trails in kernersville where we host our Meet and greets, if your ever wanting to get up and wheel hit me up.
We are actually gonna do a little wheeling tonight.
