His mud bogs are well run. I went to one last yr and was impressed with the way things ran. Sure beats the local ones around here. Therre wasnt any of that drunk redneck chit going on there.. I mean there was.. but it never got out of hand.
Figure I would run the 33 and under class too

So it's been awhile since I've posted anything, mainly trying to see what everyone is thinking as far as where to meet. The main ideas right now are:
1. Newport News park. It's a nice park and fairly local for everyone. The issue with doing it on a Friday evening is tunnel traffic from Va Beach depending on time. Saturday morning would work but would we rather piggy back with MPJAI like PingPong was saying?
2. OBX. I'm not too sure about driving 3 hours for a meet, but what about doing a beach run and meet at Oregon Inlet? Maybe have a couple small grills and some cases and make a day of it?
I really like the mud run idea at Dennis Anderson's, but I won't be able to hit one until August 'cuz of work. It should definitely be one of them though!

i don't blame ya on the tunnel traffic but ping pongs idea of piggy backing would be fine with me i really don't see a reason to have one at nn park at the same time there's a jeep meet not to far down the road

I would love to piggy back it off a MPJAI coffee run. You can get doughnuts and coffee there too.
Plus it is a good way to get involoved in the 4x community more then just on the internet. There is just about 1 run a month in the club, and everyone is in good ppl
As for the mudbog.. I think that is an awesome idea.. I just need to finish getting my rig together. And all I have to do there is.... stretch the wheelbase, find the correct input shaft, and dovetail the front, and buy a winch, And get 2 driveshafts made

Im actually cheating, my buddy is putting it in for me. Only way I could get my parents to lend me the money was have someone else do it, and the guy doing it works at Quinn and is doing this on the side.
