Been both places and love them both.
Gore (big Dogs) is only open for a few events a yr. Everything from dry creek beds to where they hold the VA rock crawling Champonships. Definately worth the trip mutiple times a yr.
Crozet.. operated by Chris packard. Awesome place.. has a lot of technically difficult obstacles. Has a lot to offer. Cool thing is stupid hard obstacles can be watched by the guys running the lower trails. Insane place to wheel. Also a good place to do a shake down run at before heading to Big Dogs or other destination event
Poser rock at staging area
Roll on Insanity
This is body shop running it the wrong way
The righ way

I haven't been to BigDogs in a while. Pretty fun place though!
I prefer Crozet more though... Maybe because its closer to me...
Anyway, we were just there Sat. the 19th. Here is a link to some pics from that weekend.

DId you run with my buddy Woody? He was driving a exo'd yota on friday (broke it) then was sporting his 4wheel steer sami on Saturday
What I dont care for a crozet is you can run the whole place in less then a day if all rigs are up to the task

No. We ran just Sat. and the three Cherokees in our group was pretty much it. We had a couple of Wranglers run with us on a few trails.
Its a personal preference really. I live less than a hour away so its a great spot for me. I could spend a weekend there and run different lines on stuff and still have a great time! That's me though.
