There was a thread started for wheeling spots in Virginia. It seemed to get a lot of hits and there are a lot of wheeling spots up there now. So lets try to do the same thing for North Carolina.
If you know of a place to go wheeling that not many people know about or that a lot of people know about near you and it is okay to go wheeling there post it on here. lets see if we can make a good list of areas that everybody can meet up and go wheelin.
Ill start it.
We have been wheeling in a place in archers lodge (clayton) for years and have never any trouble with being able to wheel there. Its pretty big and there are a bunch of trails and open areas to wheel. i do not recommend going out by yourself though there are some tuff spots. There are several ways to get in but ill tell you the main two. 1st going east on hwy 42 just after you cross over buffalo rd, youll pass a big grocery/gas station and the entrence is on the left just past. u cant miss it. 2. turn left onto buffalo rd off of hwy 42 then take right onto jordan narron rd. just before the bridge there is an entrace to the right. U have to use a power line easement to get on the trails but the wheeling areas are not on the power lines. We've never had any trouble. so check it out.
If you have a spot please add it. thanks
