I live in Annandale, VA and work in Tyson's Corner. Does anyone know of a good Jeep mechanic nearby? I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport w/ 105k miles. Thanks!

 

Trick Trucks in Kensington MD does very reputable work. It's 30 or so minutes from Tysons.

All Tune and Lube in East Falls Church is the only mechanic I have felt 100% comfortable taking my car to. I have taken my Celica there and asked him to "check it out and tell me what's wrong with it." Blank check for a mechanic, right? He returned it to me and said "Nope, looks great" and didn't charge me a dime. I've taken the Cherokee to him once or twice to have him diagnose things. He knows I like to do my own work, and he'll often look at it for free and tell me what's wrong. Rates are very reasonable for this area. If you decide to take it there, tell him Eric sent you this way. Than is the guy that owns the shop and he's awesome. He doesn't seem to be the one answering the phone these days but he's often there. Let me know if you want more info.
