There's a Pull-A-Part off of N. Tryon... bad area to be in IMO.

A lot of XJ's there or no? LKQ in Clayton usually has a handful (don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing, lol), but that's where I get a lot of my stuff.

they usually have a few, and you can check their inventory online before you go. LKQ is where half of my jeep came from haha

Theres always quite a few XJs at pullapart. Id say on a regular basis there are atleast 12 of them there. Lemme know if you ever wanna go. I can meet you there. I actually need to pull a front diff from a cherokee since mines shot and I need it for 4wd.

Sounds good bro. Even if I don't get anything, the junkyard is always fun to be at.

I frequent Pull-a-part, charlotte when I get the chance. I live up the road and also attend UNCC and thats usually my go to place for a public JY. In cabarrus & rowan theres numerous private JY, you just gotta know ppl an where to look.

Sam24th. I know for a fact theres a green late model XJ (97+) at the front of the row that I got some doors from for half doors. The whole front end is parted out but I believe the axle is still intact.

I checked the diff last weekend and it seems the diff itself is fine. I think the bearing or maybe the pinion gear itself is to blame for the clunking. I actually want to keep my front disco for the 4WD though since I decided Im gonna get a front locker. BTW we should all get together one day and do a bit of wheeling.
