Hi all. I am new to this forum and enjoying looking around. I am currently in Fayetteville. Looking forward to making new friends and wheeling partners. My "66 Waggy is currently down for some needed work but should be back up and rolling in a few months. Looking forward to meeting you all.

You're asking way to much for that jeep.
Has too high of miles- 255xxx, cracked windshield, saggy headliner, and paint faded, with dents for $3500
I sold my xj with 155xxx, no cracks, no saggy headliner, paint in faded. For $1200

What you would deem as appropriate? I'm going by KBB and adding a little. Figured a prospective buyer is going to haggle and try to get me down, so shoot a little higher.

Your jeep looks real clean but getting $3500 is going to be a stretch anywhere in SE NC. There is a sucker born every second though. I'd expect it to sell for around $2K on the high end to be honest.

I would also put yours on the high end price of $2,000 and that's be because of the body shape.
There might be some kid who has never owned a jeep before and knows nothing about them, but wants to learn who might buy it for like $2500 or more.
But I am doubtful that anyone who lives "jeep" would come anywhere close to $3500

Y'all are all focused on the negatives, which in the grand scheme of things, is not that bad. Paint is not faded to the point of despair, just a small patch on the hood and atop the liftgate. Headliner can be easily fixed and the windshield can be replaced for around $200, which is why I stated OBO. 255k miles isn't really that much for these engines, my friend has a ZJ just down the road from me with 415k and his and mine run like a champ. It's okay, someone will buy it and if not, it'll keep it. I don't have to sell it, I just don't drive it.
