Well Pong's motor is out.. and for sale.
It is a 90 model with 154k showing on odo. The motor had a remaned crank, new timing chain, and oil pump done at around 135k. This was done cause rear main was leaking, and I wasnt putting old parts back in when it was down this far. Motor is complete minus p/s pump. It also has an AW/4 still attatched.
I would like 200 for the combo.. for another 50, I will throw in a t-case

ALL in good condition. I am located in 23070 or middlesex va. ONly reason why it was pulled was to swap in a 4.3/700r4/231/d300 combo. That whole combination is 9" shorter then the stock drivetrain

Ever get down toward any parts of North Carolina? I got a buddy who is in need of the engine and Tcase, convince him to take all of it for an easy swap.

I can make a road trip for fuel.. if gas wasnt steady going higher I would quote a price.... I get 14 mpg... so figure .30 a mile or so. Might tack another 100-150 fo fuel still not a bad deal.

The transfer case you were asking $50 for. Is it a 231? If so, I would be interested in all of it. I hate to see good parts go to a scrap yard.

Will you take $175 for them? If so I want them (it is a Renix motor right)I can come up this coming weekend from Smithfield with a trailer.

I wasnt going to scrap t-case.. I was throwing it out there if the person buying the motor wanted to do a complete drivetrain swap.
Yes it is a renix motor. I wil be at the Tattoo convention this coming weekend. Have to get me some more ink

Ahh!! Several 231's? Sweet, what do want for one? I know you said $50, but I want to double check. I am like 3.5 hours away. You let me know which weekend works best for you..

Tore up a Tcase in my brothers XJ saturday, had a crazy busy weekend and just forgot about this, I will mention it to a buddy right now
