Yes it can. Iv never been there, but there is a YouTube video of a lifted Cherokee, wrangler, and ranger going down there with a stock Cherokee. If your planning on coming down, let me know. I'm about 20 min from trails road and my buddy has been down there many times.

1 question, do you have a hitch?

With recovery points, you can make it though, dare I say, almost any trail. Plus with a witch, you don't loose much clearance, especially if you get one from a Cherokee, not a "universal" hitch.

Do you have any recover points at all?

You should be fine i was down there last weekend and there was 2 stock cherokees. Definitly should have a tow point at each end though. If you come in the east end its easyer to get in and out that way the rocks get bigger on the west end.
