Default Trade 6.5" XJ Leafs - South Jersey

Kind of a strange offer here guys, that doesn't really fit in the For Sale section:

Looking to trade some brand new Clayton Offoad 6.5" springs for a decent brand 4.5", 5" or 5.5" leafs. Mine are Brand New, less than 50 miles on them, had them installed & drove the XJ home, that's it. But they are just way too high with my setup. They're not stiff, but I have shackle relocation brackets & 1" lift shackles. Someone speculated that my "heavy" XJ would cause them to settle at 5.5" where I really want to be, but I can tell that's not going to happen. I'm hoping to do an equal swap, BUT!!! (and it's a big "but")

... When I say "swap" I mean swap. We take these off, and we put yours on my XJ right there on the spot. Willing to drive to you & I will help with the installation. Or we can do it here.
Any takers? Pleeeeeease! PM me & let me know what you got.

If you were closer this would be a possibility.

my 4.5" have about 600 miles on them and 3 wheeling trips.

What brand are yours?

(I don't really care for Rough Country)

So ... no takers, huh?

Well anyone interested in buying them outright? I'm motivated, will sell for less than what I paid ... but shipping won't be your friend.

Most definitely. Ordinarily that wouldn't be a problem because I have ACOS, so I can adjust the front. But The XJ might be a bit too tippy for me with the wheels I have, the back spacing & my tire width.
15x8 / 3.75 / on 33.12.50 + roofrack + crawling rocks + off-camber = rollover. For me. Some others might be happy with them, but they're too tall for my liking.

When I picked up my 6.5" leafs there Adam said that they use the same spring and just remove a leaf for 4.5".

You might just be able to keep those and remove a leaf. Check with Clayton on which one to remove.

I've been down that road with Clayton. These leafs replace the crappy 4.5" that they sold me that were completely flat after 1 wheeling trip. My OME leafs that I ran for about 6 years had a better arch than Clayton 4.5 after one trip. And I have pics to prove it. No thanks.
