Thanks, most of the pics were taken by Ian's passenger, as you know, since I was driving. It is a D5000 with a 18-200 lens. It is about $2000 less than the D700, but it was still expensive and the lens cost a little more than the camera. It is a somewhat expensive setup for my first DSLR, but I didn't want to have to upgrade quickly. I am still very green with it, but with the right photographer the camera can take amazing pics. I need to practice and experiment more, but I am still happy with the pics it takes with my novice a$$.

the glass makes all the difference. my little rebel xt took some nice shots with the kit lens on it, but i need to upgrade to a 7D as soon as i get the cash to.
