Let's go people, I would like more people to go on this trip

 

I am going to be there. I have never been to rc but have been to moab and the badlands. I just have a few things to do on the jeep. Most likely camping weather permitting.

 

I'm gonna go to the badlands in July. What all you gotta do to your jeep?

 

I have to put the dash back together and I have to put on the trailer hitch. I sold my 90 that is in my profile and got a 97 sport. It is lifted 5 inches short arm with a 231 8.25 29 spl aw4 auto the rear is welded stock tow hooks custom rear packs crustys shocks iro exhaust and track bar. It wheels ok it is on some half tread kumho road venture mts it also has oba and some other things.

 

I am most likely going to come up Friday afternoon late and set up camp and wheel Saturday and Sunday and roll out Sunday evening. I will most likely trailer it because it isn't my daily anymore. So it is time to break it in to it's new trail duty. The plan is 4.10s a 8.8 swap a lock right in the front welded rear and custom long arms and skids on the super cheap over the summer. With the economy the way it is you have to be like pilgrims and Indians and trade and barter for the stuff you need or need done. So I will just have to see what me and my buddies can come up with before the 31st

Just bought stage 3 rock sliders from jcr offroad for my 2dr xj :-)

 

my rear locker come tuesday and i ordered 2x6 tube to build rock sliders

 

Tow hooks are on trailer hitch tomorrow. I have to hit up the hard ware store in the morning. This should be fun no armor and I am most likely the the one to use the go pedal.

 

well i broke my drive shaft tonight and fried my alternator so its time for the zj upgrade... no more wheelin till the 31st

just looked at rc's websight and the 31st is a open house even with guided trail rides and a swap meet i hope they have an un guided option also
