BTW, I plan on getting to rausch in the afternoon..... Like 2 or 3 o clock, so try not to be too late everyone that's going.... I don't want to be bored and alone, other wise I'll be drunk before anyone shows up haha

Oooooo, you have a bad heater core my friend. One of the most pain in the *** things to do on a chrystler. Originally Posted by Tomlarson89

Keep checking your coolant level. You ARE losing it. It's not on the ground yet because it's all trapped in your HVAC plenum behind your dash.

Not necessarily..... I've seen a bunch of jeeps 'steam ' through the vents depending on weather. Do you smell coolant when your heart is on? Wet floors? And by 'air'iassume to mean ac, dies it only over heat with ac? And how far over 210? Factory gauges suck and aren't very accurate.Originally Posted by RYAN007R6

Even at this time of the year the a/c will draw in ambient air along with cooled air. I could understand if it was 90° out and there was cool steam coming thru. Originally Posted by foxmxrcer

But yes, does it smell sweet? Does you windshield have a film on it by the upper dash?

Lehigh Valley. Haven't Been to Rausch yet but plan on it sometime soon (perhaps in the spring, just trying to get a few more things done with it before the winter) - it's technically my wife's jeep, I rebuilt it for her, she's learning to drive still.
Pics are in my sig and over there <----
And yes, the roads are ridiculous here. On my daily commute there's still a few patches that are absolutely terrible, and I was hoping they'd get to them before this winter.
I shudder to think what they will look like if we have half as bad of a winter again this year.
I do have a question for you PA'ers...
Does anyone here rock antique plates? I was thinking about getting them for mine, but it would still be a daily driver. Idk how **** the cops would be, etc - though I've literally never been pulled over here in the many years I've lived here, and with my veteran sticker I doubt I ever will. I used to get pulled over in NJ like once every few weeks at a minimum. One of the nice things about the great commonwealth of PA is the cops generally DGAF about anything.
The cheap insurance and the end of inspections/emissions is very tempting to me.
