Don't get an angle grinder from harbor freight lol. I had one that exploded on me from bearing failure.

Quote: Tires!!! Now I'm ready to do the lift. I wasn't going to lift it without them. They have over 8/32 and I feel real happy for the price not cuts, dry rot or bad belts. I didn't think I'd find any for my price range. The guy opened his garage and it was wall to wall 31s .
Are these the size that will fit stock?

Anyone know how to weld that's around Quakertown? I want to either put some recovery points on the front of my stock or if someone knows of someone who makes bumpers? Thanks!

No I'm pretty sure 31x10.5x15 will not fit under stock but then again there is probably someone here who has done it.

If you cut you'll be able to put those on stock suspension. Before i got my lift put on, i was messing around at a friends and we tried putting my 31's on stock. Let's just say, it didnt work.

I fit 32x11.5x15 BFG KM2 Mud on my stock cherokee with cut and fold rear and cut a lot in the front. I had about 2 inches clearance in the rear, any bumper and i hit - i could flex a curb and thats it. Look at some of my pictures to see the difference after my 4.5" RC lift.

If you are going to off road you should be cutting the fenders anyways.

Also - you can get front recovery points with your stock bumper still on - they have brackets that include 3 stock bumper bolts and tie back into the frame. Mine were cheap and I have tugged hard plenty of times - little bending/tweaking the bumper and hooks - but hasnt left me stranded yet.

Soon enough will have custom bumpers/chopped top/full exterior cage and a stinger bumper obnoxious enough for people to say I am compensating for something else*

Hey guys,
I've been contemplating on posting this or not, but I've been thinking about maybe selling my xj ( that is if i could get somewhere near what I paid for it, not counting all the money I threw into it). So you guys seem to know alot about stuff so I was just wondering what you thought I'd be able to get. Just turned 157k, and really nothing wrong with it except the bottom of the doors on the inside are starting to rust (which I planned on taking care of as soon as the weather breaks). I may also be able to transfer the warrenty thats left on it too. Gas is just really killing me driving back home every weekend (sick family memeber). Still just 50/50 right now, really don't wana part with it but just not sure.

I had 30x9.5 on my first xj. Let me see if I can find a pic for you.
