If you can do that with 35x12.5r15 Goodyear MTR Kevlar jobbies on some 15x8 3.75bs, with 5 of them, same price....We could become friends.

Haha yeah right, I'd have fresh tread on mine if I could do that lol. I plan on upgrading to 35s soon, already running 15x8 3.75s though lol. I love my bfg km2s and will buy a set again in a heartbeat. Gonna need them soon lol.

Building a ranger with Cherokee engine/trans/t-case, SD axles, 4 link rear, and 3 link front is harder than I thought it'd be XD

SD axles? No, no, no! That's a prime opportunity to wheel with a D35 front AND rear! How could you turn that down?

Found a 2 door xj with the 2.5L, and a 5speed that is in need of an engine.

Are they worthwhile to get back running for a DD? Seeeeems like the general consensus of the 2.5L is it is so underpowered to the point of not fixing, should just swap a 4.0 in.

so when you get a 4.0, you would also need the ax15 to go with it. In addition to a np231 t case that has 23 splines

You may want the axles that are in it. General consensus is the 2.5L is equivalent to the 4.0L around town and on trails, but it doesn't have power on the highway

oh that's right, Dano, have you been looking for 4.10 axles? Well here's your chance. You can buy the whole jeep, keep the axles and part the rest out.

That was my original thought. BUT I didn't know if it was worth salvaging.. OR if there is less rust than my bucket, I could swap all the goodies over to have a 2 door..

I don't see anything special about two doors... The shells are weaker because it has only 6 pillars instead of 8.
The parts are less common than 4 door versions. If the seats break. Where are u gonna find another one?

It's annoying to constantly flip the seat to reach the back especially if you often stow stuff on the backseat.
