3 of them look like this, this is the shallowest tread depth of those 3...

1 looks like this...lazy on rotating tires for a bit there...

no cupping at all on any of them, all hold air just a-okay!

But uh yeah, I want to get rid of them so make me an offer!

Hey all,
New Cherokee owner here. Used to own CJ5's, so don't hold that against me. LOL

Anyway, I have a 99 XJ with a 4.0 straight 6, cold air intake, auto trans, 6" Skyjacker lift, and 31" Gladiators on Centerline rims. That's about all I know about it so far.

I know this may sound like a god-awful idea, but has anyone done a comparison of the xj stock fender flare set vs. a commander bolt-style flare set? I'm looking at them now and they appear rather similar, but I'd assume the wheel well spacing would be marginally different. Suppose this is more thinking out loud than anything. I guess the drop in the front on the front flares may be too long, front grill wouldn't match up with a commander front bumper.

Need opinions and ideas please. 95 Cherokee Limited, still stock, RHD

Had a loud knock while driving today that sounded like a large rock hit under the drivers side and then when starting its sounds like a drive shaft is knocking but its still in park so thats out.

No obvious oil leaks (apart from standard weeps) where something has let go.

Heading out to do future investigation

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Do u have a picture of what I are talking about?

check the pulleys, and I would also pull the starter and the inspection plate and see if anything loose is inside the bellhousing. Also inspect the flexplate bolts.

They are notorious for becoming loose and making a racket. While ur checking the bolts, check if the flexplate is cracked.

Need more details. Does the sound follow the rpms? Anything make the sound change? Etc etc

While we're on this subject, mine makes a knocking sound only when pulling out. It goes knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, then drives normal. Any ideas???

Is it only when cold, until the engine heats up? If so, most likely piston slap

You'd have to measure a Commander and your XJ and see how they compare. Unless, of course, you can get your hands on a set of XK flares to play with

No, this knock is all the time. It's more of an external knock.
