What do ppl think of the new hell cat motor in the gc's? They claim itll do 186mph

 

Haha why no jeep man?! My buddy is down their right now with shop he works for they took the "street" car haha that makes stupid power and from what I hear put the hurt on 2 supras and 1 2jz s2000 and had the high power supras scared to race lol

 

IF they come out that would be cool except for the price tag. Probably be 80-90k, maybe more. Hell the new ones now are pushing 60-70k.

As for the 186mph....probably. The charger hellcat does over 200mph.....I'll try to find the vid

yup, theyre starting at 80k apparently, but why not just get a regular srt8 and work it for much less?? Haha

 

The 6.4 in the new ones now don't have forged internals. People have been grenading the motors on just 6# boost. They do have aftermarket forged drop in pistons and rods now though for the 6.4, saw a place on a forum advertise 8k for just that installed. That's almost a built long block price.
The hellcat is a 6.2L that's forged and lower compression right from factory. But yeah, you could probably build one cheaper and faster than the hellcat. Only thing is, hellcat was built to be beat on with warranty.....Lol.
