Sorry man was busy all day installing the stereo system. I'll pm you my # call me tomorrow and we can link up then.

 

Have the old JVC head unit I took out when I did my stereo install yesterday. Model #KD-SX980 I think there's a CD jammed in, I never bothered to screw with it. Radio and front aux port work fine though. I dond't know about you guys but I don't ever use CD's anymore and don't even reallly have any. Anyway it's up for grabs if anyone wants it. Comes with everything needed to connect it to a '97 and up XJ

Nice to be giving it away. I had to laugh when I saw the photo of the packaging though as it says, "FULL LEGAL POWER" as if that's something to be proud of. By FCC law CBs are limited to a weak 5 watt output and since most "dead key" 2-3 watts, when you talk you are only swinging 2-3 watts of output. Take it to a CB shop in one of the local truck stops and they can peak and tune it for you.

Im glad this thread is going so smooth. I was gonna grab that stereo... eh. If anyone wants to trade, i have a stereo, ill grab the specs on it, but it has an aux input and the faceplate automatically folds in. Its just too long for my xjs dash. It sticks out. Let me know.
