My stocker has 203K on it and runs GREAT! You'd be surprised how well a (4WD) stock Cherokee can do. I've gone through and over more than i ever would have though was possible. I'd shop around for either a complete 4WD parts jeep or even good deals on the front axle, Transfer case, etc to make yours 4WD. I am on a limited budget also, but have had plenty of fun in the 2 yrs ive had my 95
