If anyone is interested, in sailsbury MA / seabrook New Hampshire, theres some pretty decent trails, and a place called g and g pit thats pretty fun. If anyone is ever in the area, let me know. I have to replace my leaf spring shackles before i go again though

I'm new to the forum and a new XJ owner. I would love to experience wheeling sometime. However I'm in VT, near the NH border.Though likely to end up moving to NH in the fall.

Hey all, just moved up to New Durham from Rochester, definitely need to get together with some of you and do some mudding, but first! My driver side outer rocker panel is pretty rotted out...

Ive Been looking for a replacement rocker panel but all the ones i look at are for a 84-01 cherokee, except sport models 97-01 (like this one http://c2cfabrication.com/store/prod...roducts_id=309 ) i own a 97 sport. Anyone know where to find one for a 4dr 97 sport, or if the one I'm looking at would actually work?

Wasn't really looking to do steel tubing because ill have to knock out the passenger side panel which looks almost perfect.

I was looking to only fix one side. But if it is going to cost more to get a replacement panel for one side, maybe 2x4x(3/16? or 1/4?) or 2x6x(3/16? or 1/4?)steel tubing would be a good idea. If anyone knows of a good guide for steel tubing feel free to post it Only have until end of July so cutting it a little close on time and $.

I'm also looking for someone who could do some good welding, either for a replacement panel or steel tubing.

Any help and advice would be great...I am a repair newb, but i live with a mechanic with access to tools, except for welding tools :/ Hope to meet some of you soon and do some wheeling before i get too old
