Default New to CT and the east

I recently moved to New London, CT from California, and I'm searching for off road trails. What are some of my closest options?

Thanks!

Your best bet in that area is probably checking out RI. Not much in CT but I'm not so familiar with that side of the state. There's http://jonfund.org

Not sure where they are but they do a lot of stuff in mass I think. Also on NAXJA there's a calender of events for the North Atlantic. There's usually a lot of trail runs around central MA listed there.

I suppose Groton is more south east, but I don't mind a bit of a drive. What sort of place is it? ^^^
