I had Appalachian do the lift on my XJ as well. Great bunch of guys, Loaned me a set of shocks when mine ended up being on back order just to get me on the road. Took em 2 days due to my leaf bolts being a particular pita.

Mike runs a great shop. I've used him in the past a couple of times. It really helps that he's only about 3 miles from my house.

Gonna try tackling my front axle this weekend. New balljoints, axle shafts, unit bearings and brakes.
Anyone know if the unit bearing bolts are available locally incase I maul one of em? I saw someone recommend 10.9 grade bolts from the hardware store as an alternative. Would they be ok to use?
Alternatively anyone object to just cutting the knuckle apart with a cutting wheel and not even dealing with them? I have a new set of knuckles. I would have to get new unit bolts as I would be leaving the old ones in the knuckles.

So it looks like the lift is going to end up neting between 5.5 and 6 inches. I was told that 35's will fit with some trimming or flares. I plan on throwing some flat flares in the future. I have stock a 3.55 D30 and 8.25. How bad will 35's be with those axles? I'm still leaning towards 33's, but with the price difference only being 7 dollars, it's hard to not do 35's.

Cleaned the head some and re-painted the valve cover today. Hoping to get this head gasket finished by next weekend.
And I also graduated today.
