If you're just removing the old one, cut the wires.

I have stuff I can use, just heard it was easier if you had one. Alex, I can't get up there tonight, but I haven't even ordered the sensor yet. Have an appt tomorrow at the dealership, so I will let them confirm which one it is before ordering. I also have a leak around the cowl that they are going to check, my foot gets wet every time it rains.

Check the little rubber boots that the wires going into the doors go into. Mine fell off and was leaking water in through there. May not be it, but something to check.

And just use a dang wrench. I should install my o2 sensor soon...and go get ny emissions done.

It's a Fiat. I see a market overseas, but I feel like Jeep is moving away from its roots domestically

You don't need a socket for that. Open ended wrench. Forgot if it's 21mm or 11/16, that's something maybe dukie can confirm (it's been a few months since I did mines) plus you can beat on it with a hammer if needed

Just drive a half hour an have them heat up. That's how I always do mines

Honest truth, I don't blame them. Too many different owners of jeep. There's a different market today than years past. Most people just lease and trade up in a year or 2. it's really the older generation and maybe their children that care for a vehicle and not just a name.
