That came from the radiator cap area. I used water to flush it. I'm thinking there's a build up in my heater core. I grabbed all my hoses and they all burned the hell out of me except the lower heater core hose. It still was hot but not as burningly so like the rest..

I would use a chemical flush to get rid of all of that ****. I would replace the hoses too if they are old. Same goes with the thermostat, since you'll have it all apart.

Does it overheat or anything?

here before Tim...

Hood vents will not keep your jeep from overheating. They will however extend the life of your hoses and rubber thingy's under the hood.

Yeah I know...but it gets so hot under there it clearly needs the vents. I work at a parts store so I'm ganna get the lower rad hose tonight and a flush chemical and do it 2mro. If someone could just put a brief explanation of the proper way to back flush that'd be great.

never hurts to replace/upgrade your cooling system, after I overheated on the beach and warped my head I replaced just about everything. out on the road it never creeps past 210. when I was offroading or towing a vehicle up a hill it would go up a little bit past, and while I was offroading I learned my electric fan actually still works.

My Comanche was overheating (legitimate side-of-the-road overheating) about once a week, but I never had another problem after I replaced the cooling system.

1. turn the package over
b. read the instructions for back flush
