Did you loosen all the bolts on there? And are you sure you're turning the adjusting bolt the right way? Take it easy. You definitely don't want to break that.

And please take your time posting. I for one am more willing to help when I can just read your post instead of trying to decipher typos.

He did install 1-ton on his TJ, so I know he's able. The lack of warranty makes me uneasy lol

Why not inserts?

I'd still need to buy the Goferits and the bit, and I feel like it's a weak point compared to reaming the knuckles.

Meh. I would still be too worried about over reaming the knuckle compared to just drilling out a whole foreign insert to fit in.

That's why I only looked at ones that were already inspected last time I bought one. Then I went the other route and just looked at 20 year old ones so I could tag it as historic and bypass the MD inspection which turned out to be a wise move since the one I got would have failed inspection on 25 counts

I had a feeling there was more to the story than "runs great" so I called and he wasn't too good with the details. Saved me an hour drive.

So apparently the Cove Campground has told Chaos Offroad they're not welcomed at the Big Dogs event this weekend.

Pretty ****ty move on their part.
