Looking for a high pinion, 3.55 gears dana 30 for a friend. Anyone have one?

 

I found 2 in my driveway, but I kind of need them.

Well my uncle looked at the Jeep and with his volt meter. He believes the new alternator is faulty and so today after doing my drug test i'll remove it and exchange it and try another one.

 

you checked the maxi fuses right? (the big 60A ones under the hood)

 

No, i guess I should check those. Are they in the fuse box off to the left?

 

yup - they're for the alternator charging circuit

 

I dont see a 60 amp fuse. Do you have a picture or diagram?

 

maybe it's 30A...

there's also a fusible link between the alternator and battery in the wire

 

I don't see any fuse in the fuse block that relates to the alternator.

I'm still going to remove the alternator and exchange it because the volt meter reads that it's not putting out the power that it should, and the output wire to the battery reads as good on the volt meter.

 

Been putting the miles on the jeep going back and forth to Brooklyn. Can't wait for the final day of moving to the new house. Tomorrow is uhaul day
