Thinking about painting my wheels black on the mazda. My brake pads create a ton of brake dust so the day after I wash my car the wheels are dirty again. They also have road rash from where someone hit a curb or two.

What do you guys think?

clean the wheels with a degreaser and put wax on them, polish off by hand. The wax will not let the brake dust stick to it. Much easier than masking and scuffing and painting them.....

I thought about that, but two of the wheels are beat up from someone hitting stuff. Black paint would hide that some.

Plus i think black may look good. I cant find any stock mazdas with black stock wheels though to see.

Not... new paint will not hide ****, it will amplify defects unless its a flat color which would not look good on a mazda.

Thats a major hint..... a gunmetal gray would look alot better than black

yup, a darker gray would be better, your car is a medium-ish color. no black.

anybody interested in building one with me? I can do without all the bugout goodies but like the solar chargers, water connections and all. Would be a badass camping rig

I've found a couple solutions but wanted to check in with you heebs. Has anyone without AC found a way to deal with the horrendous fog that builds up inside when it rains?
