Three different websites show to use 3 different copper Champion plugs.

Summit says to use the Champion 344 (RC9YC)
Jeeps Unlimited/Auto Zone say to use Champion 438 (RC12ECC)
2 threads on this forum said to use Champion 412 (RC12LYC)

I don't know much about transmissions, is there a section I could take off or do I have to replace the whole thing

Someone is coming to look at the Jeep tonight. He seems very interested. I told him he could see it tomorrow and he said "how bout this afternoon?"

I think his Trans is ok, The last pic shows the back of the trans case and the planetary set. If he's lucky it should just unbolt and reveal an OK trans mounting area.
