I stay in a condo owned by the CEO of DuPont Chemical. The government pays 6-figure rent annually so we can stay there. Your tax dollars keeping me comfy while I play Xbox all day. Not even kidding here. And then I get paid travel compensation when I get back. For 22 days, I'm getting new tires, my bumper, and shocks.
Mike, I don't get to dive the XJ. Stuck in a GOV Suburban (or a '95 Caravan if we're unlucky). They won't let me bring anything back, and they may not let me go out. We'll see, though.

I happen to know there are no good leaf springs at Hawkins. I took the only set last weekend
And god damn it fought me to the bitter end. Both front bolts seized to the sleeves, and one of them the welded nut broke loose. Literally destroyed the floor getting it out. About 8 hours later...i have springs

look for it if you're going to the Hawkin's Point CR. It's the grey one on the left side with the *** end jacked up on some tires, with no leaf springs. I ****ed that floor up something fierce. Should have taken a picture.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there. Only 15min from my house. Almost finished my brake issue today. Definitely will be done tomorrow. Hey does anyone have more info about this offroading place? Like a link or a phone # or anything?

Maybe I'll head to hawkins point this weekend, I need to grab a good set of calipers/disc rotors for the rear brake conversion. I already have the backplates.
I really need to get off my duff and find a d30/8.25 axle set so I have something to work on during the winter months. While 4.10's would be nice, 3.73's would work as well. I don't plan on running any thing bigger then a 31. Also need to grab a 231 so I can do an SYE on it and just swap out the cases.
Man, this list gets longer and longer the more I think about it.
