The problem is this,
Chris and I have been toying with building a yj buggie. This would be a perfect engine and tranny for it. However its a 4 cyl yj. So we would need to fab up a bunch of stuff to get a 4.0 to work. Plus you have an aw4 instead of an ax5, so again more fab work. Although a cheap solution, maybe the best solution for this project.
However I think both would be a worthwhile purchase for cpo.

Question, if I take the doors off my XL how much of a pain is it to put them back on without modding the hinges? Just take them off today and put them on tomorrow?

back from Jeep Jam. hung out with scott, damien, derek, ben, and some other people there. my jeep went through the obstacle course with ease. went to go run over the cars, and some guy in a stock JK decided to get really really stuck on it.

yours is pre 97 right? just cut the hinges. It's really easy to do on yours.

When I turn my jeep on it revs to 2k and then slowly goes down to normal idle.. Is this the throttle position sensor going bad ?
