FYI for anyone wanting 4.56 gears - there's evidently a rare 4cly auto 4x4 at the Rt 1 crazy rays - should have them.

Came normally with 4:10's....But RARELY you will find the offroad or tow package 4 banger with the 4:56. Being just a 4cy 4x4 Auto does not make it 4:56...have to look at the tags....
Proof the unicorn does exist....

Lifetime warranty is fine, but you can add fluid to an open system any time, and you don't have to bleed it or worry about air. Warranty has nothing to do with ease of maintenance.
Also, the pressure bottle is a wear part. I'd prefer not to deal with that so I don't have to worry about needing a warranty.
And you can add coolant anytime to a closed system as well...

just the fact that I wouldn't have to worry about a plastic bottle exploding and spraying boiling coolant in my face would be enough to convince me to convert it to open.

Literally the only time I have to burp it is when I completely drain it, which you would need to do regardless of systems... Well not need, but I just don't feel like waiting for it to burp.
And you can add coolant anytime to a closed system as well...

My open system let's me open the cap, fill, and go.
My closed system requires me to open the cap slowly and cautiously so it doesn't become a geyser.
When I finish adding fluid:
The open system is happy.
The closed system now has air trapped in it, and I'm risking an overheat unless I bleed it.
I'm not arguing about the effectiveness of closed systems, but open has less to worry about.

If I drive to the parts store to buy coolant so I can top off:

The only ones that explode are ones that have been overheated too many times. I've never had one explode.
I still don't see how you get air trapped in by adding coolant. Coupled with the proper thermostat (and by proper i mean with the plastic BB at the 12 position) burping is a non issue. But then again, if you are adding coolant to a closed system and it's spraying out, you already have too much... Only have to add if the bottle is empty, or close to it.
