1.275 is the broadly specified maximum OAL for .45 regardless of bullet. I hope you meant 1.230. If you're seating those JHPs or any bullet profile to anything north of that, you've found your issue. I can't believe they fit into the mag at 1.30. I seat Hornady 230 XTP JHPs at 1.230 and my Rainier 230 gr RNs at 1.265
