Well, I went and jacked up the front end. No noticeable play anywhere. Diff/Transfer case is full. Guess I'm just gonna ride it till it really starts making noise and hopefully becomes more apparent as to what the hell the issue is.

In the meantime I'm gonna try and track down a set of spare shafts so I can rebuild em just in case.

you can...up to a certain point. When you start using it for commercial, publically advertised events i guess that's where the problem comes in....

...still BS though. Squeezing his ***** over a zoning technicality...

So he should get some sort of permit(s) for an at home business. Right?

I had a similar issue last month but with 230 gr. Rainier plated RN bullets not staying tight in the case after crimping. My issue was that I didn't fully size the once fired cases properly. Can you pull the 185 bullet out of the case with a plier after crimping? Also, don't load any of more of those 185s into a mag until you know what's up. If you get any set back due to recoil thus driving the bullet backward into the case, the pressures go up to kaboom levels pretty quick. You didn't mention your OAL, whose bullets your using or the source book for the load you're brewing up. Could be crimp or could be sizing issues. You might want to post up in mdshooters reloading section also. Oh, nice gun.

it would have to be a zoning variance. The other issue seems to be infringement on some environmental easement...
