I'll have to check if that's my finals week, but if not I'm sure I wouldnt mind taking a weekend off the college life to go!

Also would need to check the distance from school so I know what to save up

My measurements from the lift:
(3" front, 3.5" rear, 33" tires)
Before:
Front: 32.5 | Rear: 29.5 | Front Bumper: 18.5
After:
Front: 39 | Rear: 39 | Front Bumper: 23.5
Keep in mind I do have trimmed fenders, but I measured to the same spot before and after.

Also found out today that my original CF stickers *did* get forwarded to my mom's house from Germany. Since the site sent me 2 more after I explained the problem, I now have four. That means one for the back and one for the front

Since its out of a 95 that means its likely a 27 spline axle not the stronger/preferred 29 spline that started midway through the 96 model year.

If you are measuring lift with the tires on, aren't your mesurements off? For example, I went from a 29" tire to a 31 inch tire but that didn't give me 2 inches. I only added 1 inch for the tire.

the distance between the hub and the fender (or axle and unibody) wouldnt change with tire size. the only value that would change with going bigger tires would be your ground clearance (from the bottom of the axle to the ground.) he could have 23" tires on there and his hub to fender (or axle to unibody) measurements would still be the same. and since you went from a 29 to a 31, you gained 1 inch of ground clearance (diameter of tire/2=radius)

i just looked at the numbers... i think you are right brian. i think he measured from the ground. but the info above is still valid so i am leaving it

A 2" difference in tire size will only net 1" lift cause only half of the diameter is below the axle. But yes, I measured before I started anything, and then after everything was done. I just wanted to know my change in actual height.

I've been looking for a set of those door panels form my xj (mine's a 4 door) forever. I live the vinyl dominance over what I have of all carpet. Anywyas, looks nice! I wish places made better fitting seat covers for XJs though .

Also, anyone think it's be difficult to just re-upholster my door panels myself?? other than the seats they're the stock color left on the interior.

the door panels are just cardboard. Getting the old material off without tearing up that panel would be tricky.

So I should just find the same card-board material and measure-and0cut myself and just do it all from scratch??
