My SYE. Idk why. But i feel like it wouldve helped here. The hole is real far away from where the shaft connects to the TC. How could the hole have been made?

The ear as you two call it is all messed up. I bet the shaft kept spinning and hit the hell out of it. Its only on 2 opposite sides.

I'm betting when your driveshaft let loose it bounced off the case - 20lbs of steel at 60MPH does some damage

You'll need to remove the pinion nut and slide on a new yoke.

The fact that an ear on the yoke broke, it seems more like the TCase threw the chain and blew out the side of the case...locking the driveshaft while rolling, which tore it off the rear yoke. That did not come off the rear first.....Case is complete toast....replace the whole thing...I can find you one around $100.....

Replace rear yoke.

Aaron....what is the deal with the 8.25 you have sitting from Kool Aid?
