You can Junkyard pull 136A alternators from V8 Grand Cherokee's all day. You can go 160A in some R/T Durango's....it's a good upgrade. As long as it fits in the stock location, you will see no issue.
Remember, however, your wiring was not design for that load, so when upgrading the ALT, you should upgrade wiring and the Bus fuse to the PDC.

I'm using the logic that if I had a bigger lift, mud terrains, and stuff that it would be harder for me to get stuck. She's coming around to it slowly, so we'll see what happens by the end of summer. Winch and stubby bumper have already been given the green light..
