mostly the **** that you wouldn't want to fix a week after its in your driveway or after a wheeling trip. brakes, u-joints, loose steering, bent things that aren't supposed to be bent. not too many things in this world have a natural hook, ijs.

Check the unibody...the whole length of the frame rails, for rust. Especially around the from control arms, rear leaf perches, and around the gas filler cutout. Poke at rust spots to see if they are weak, or solid with surface rust.

This is the one thing you will hate if you get stuck with, is a rusty unibody.

Oh I believe they are but I wouldnt care if they were full of Afgan Kush I'm not sitting in 40 degress to smoke one.
